Give your clients a deeper way to understand their dog.
Help your clients understand the dog in front of them—not just the behavior.
Whether you work in animal welfare, training, daycare, veterinary care, grooming, boarding, rescue, or canine wellness, you know one thing is true:
No two dogs walk into your world the same.
Some dogs enter a room with confidence. Others observe before engaging. Some thrive in routine. Others light up through connection and movement.
At The Honored Dog, we help pet parents see those differences through a new lens—one rooted in personality, connection, and reflection.
The Honored Dog isn’t behavior modification. It isn’t obedience training. And it doesn’t replace your expertise. It is a shared language that helps clients better understand who their dog is—and why that matters.
That kind of understanding changes how people show up for their dogs. And it changes how they talk to you about them.
If you’re curious about how The Honored Dog fits into what you do, let’s talk. info@honoreddog.com
What Is The Honored Dog?
The Honored Dog begins with a personality experience designed to help pet parents recognize how their dog naturally moves through the world.
Each dog is introduced to one of our Pack Personalities:
Doggy Diva – thoughtful, selective, observant
Goodest Boy / Goodest Girl – steady, loyal, quietly devoted
Bossy Pants – expressive, opinionated, driven by purpose
Social Butterfly – energetic, joyful, connection-oriented
From there, pet parents continue through a guided reflection experience designed to deepen awareness, strengthen connection, and document their dog’s story over time.
This creates something powerful:
Clients stop seeing “stubborn,” “clingy,” “dramatic,” or “too much.”
They begin seeing personality, motivation, communication, and needs.
A level above the rest

Bringing the Care to the Forefront of Your Daycare Business
You already know these dogs better than most pet parents realize.
You know which one walks in and immediately starts working the room, tail going, nose everywhere, collecting new friends like it’s their job. You know which one owns the yard by noon, not because they’re aggressive, but because that’s just how they’re built. You know the one who has opinions about everything, who she’ll play with and who she won’t, who needs things a certain way and will absolutely let you know if they’re not. And you know the one who just shows up, goes with whatever, and somehow makes everyone around them calmer just by being there.
The Honored Dog puts names to all of that. Social Butterfly. Bossy Pants. Doggy Diva. Goodest Boy and Goodest Girl.
When your clients understand which one they have, it changes the conversations you get to have with them. Instead of explaining that their dog is “a lot” or “particular” or “not great with certain dogs,” you have a shared frame. One that doesn’t pathologize the dog. One that makes sense simply fits.
